Peter’s
Walking Tours is a team
of young, streetwise, well-travelled individuals, based in
St. Petersburg, Russia. We offer a range of English-language
walking tours running to a set timetable, several walks every
day. Designed for a curious and energetic budget-conscious
traveller, our walks cover all aspects of St. Petersburg’s
life, from history, arts and social culture to everyday practicalities.
To
take a Peter’s Walking Tour, turn up at the
designated meeting point a couple of minutes before the starting
time. You do not need to book in advance.
Peter’s Walking Tours run in any weather, rain or shine
(or ‘snow and frost’ as we say in Russian).
We keep our prices as low as possible.
All scheduled walks cost 650 rubles – a good value for
a four hour walking tour. With all inquiries
regarding Peter’s Walking Tours, please contact us at
info@peterswalk.com.
Besides
the usual stuff you
expect to hear on a walking tour, we supply a wealth of information
on What, How, Where, When in St. Petersburg, more accurate
and up-to-date than any guidebook. Tips on clubbing and nightlife,
ballet, museums, public transport, cheap and good eats, provided
by experienced backpackers and experts on the city.
You
can consult us on travelling to other destinations
in Russia, including the Trans-Siberian – we've been
there and done it ourselves. Do not hesitate to ask. And -
you don't even need to take a walking tour for that! Just
email us your questions, and we'll get back to you as soon
as we can.
Our
guides would go out of the way to help you with all
your routine travel concerns, to explain you the cultural
differences that might seem frustrating and hard to grasp
from the first glance. Ask your guide for assistance on practical
travel matters.
We
see ourselves as conductors between cultures
- in the country where majority of the population have never
been exposed to the outside world, we speak your language.
Peter’s Walking Tours
were established in 1996, first as a freelance
project. Our history.
We receive impressive press coverage. Our
